The Steak Pit would thrive in the big city - and it is wonderful to have it in bucolic Oregon, Il., near the Rock River and the famed statue of Blackhawk on the hillside just across the way. The food is fresh and everything is cooked to order on an open grill. Wide selection of wine and beer. Folks from nearby larger cities regularly come to Oregon to visit the Steak Pit.
